Cancellation Policy

At Patamali, we are committed to providing a fair and predictable experience for both guests and hosts. This cancellation policy applies to all bookings made through the platform unless otherwise specified in a particular listing.

Cancellation Fees

Guests may cancel their bookings under the following terms:

  • More than 14 days before check-in: Guests will receive a full refund of the booking amount.
  • Within 14 days of check-in: A 25% cancellation fee applies.
  • Within 7 days of check-in: A 50% cancellation fee applies.
  • No-show or cancellation after check-in: No refund will be issued. Where a cancellation fee applies:
  • Patamali retains a 10% platform commission from the cancellation amount.
  • The remaining portion is paid to the host as compensation.
  • Any remaining balance is refunded to the guest.

Check-In Issues and Property Accuracy

Patamali strives to ensure all listings are accurate and available as described.
If a guest experiences a serious issue at check-in or within the first 48 hours, including:

  • The property does not exist.
  • The unit is significantly different from the listing.
  • There is material misrepresentation.
  • There are health or safety concerns.

The guest must notify Patamali immediately. In such cases, Patamali may:

  • Help arrange alternative accommodation, or
  • Provide a partial or full refund, where appropriate.
    Hosts responsible for such issues may face penalties, listing removal, or account suspension.

Refund Processing

Refunds, where applicable, will be issued via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on:

  • The payment provider.
  • The bank or financial institution.

Changes to Bookings

Guests who wish to modify their booking dates should contact Patamali as early as possible. Changes are subject to:

  • Property availability.
  • Host approval.

Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases involving force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances), Patamali may review cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
